Its Friday again! The week has just blown by. Did you get a chance to do anything exciting this past week? We are busy getting ready to embark on our Summer vacation. Waterton National Park is the destination, and I am really looking forward to this one. Apparently we went when we were kids, but I don’t have any memory of it at all. Of course a stop in Banff Park is also in the cards (a vacation just wouldn’t be complete without stepping foot in Banff park..). For today's random photos, I present a beautiful flower, some wild mushrooms, a rushing stream, and some ice floating across lake Hourglass.

I don’t know my flowers very well, so no. I really ought to look into the study of flowers a bit more, as I really do appreciate seeing and smelling them. Thanks.

Great pics today! I can only imagine your feeling of elation to be getting away to your happy places! I've never been to Waterton yet. It really looks like a very special place! I'm sure your photos will be fantastic!

Wow, that flower is amazing, I love these popping colours but I believe the monochrome is one of my favourites too! The other pics as well btw, really nice!

Reading that you made them with the Huawei p40 pro makes me long for the time when my P30 pro made these amazing pictures but somehow (I think) it seems to be messed up by AI learning as pictures declined .. first only when not enough light..

It's been reset twice now and I feel bummed that my only good pictures are in daylight nowadays.. Even the moon I had to capture with my old phone to have a clear zoomed in picture..

I wish you a lot of fun in the holidays..

Last week (as you asked) was week two out of 11 for the summer holidays for my daughter.. so far so good. When I could, we swam a lot as we have a community pool. Most days weren't exciting though because of my health. But the hours/days that I feel good, we make the most out of it (usually the mornings haha).
