Today is the first Friday of August, its already August which means that Summer is half over. Yes, sadly, hopefully you have had plenty of time to enjoy yourself so far, and if not, get going, you have 4 weeks remaining (for July/August, Summer officially ends on Sep 22, mid Summer is just the hottest part). So far this Summer we have gone to Waterton Park, Banff Park, Kananaskis country, and Cranbrook, British Columbia. In a couple of days a camping we will go too. How about yourself, what have you been doing this Summer, and what are the plans for August? What are you doing this weekend? Do tell in the comment section below.

Ha ha … that’s a really great Sasquatch. Sounds like you are having a great summer. It’s been so hot and muggy out east. We try to get out for a swim each day and then back inside to the freezing cold AC. The kids had summer school and jobs so we haven’t done much travelling yet. We are planning a 3 week camping trip in Algonquin Park for the last 3 weeks of August. Hopefully it’s not so hot. Will be brutal in tent.

That's a beautiful shot of that wood carving. It's very sunny indeed, summer is probably the best time to take pictures unlike here in Nigeria. What's the next season?

Yes for sure, next season is Autumn, starting on sep 22nd. That would make 7 weeks of “summer” remaining actually. The mid Summer is just the hottest.

Nice shots, always some interesting subject matter. The stained glass and the flowers are really pretty. You found some great random shots!
