(Meant to be posted to Photography Lovers community - please disregard) Policeman’s Creek Canmore

Why do they call it Policeman’s Creek? Honestly I have no clue! But it was a fantastic boardwalk to walk on, even though the skies were overcast that day (not to mention a bit of rain too). On a clear blue day, the views from this boardwalk are second to none. Highly recommended to head here, if you ever find yourself in the area someday. Keep your fingers crossed for blue skies though. These will be the last of the photos taken around the Canmore, Alberta area. Currently planning our next excursion out to the one and only Canadian Rockies. Where should I go next, any recommendations?

At first glance it looks like a track amidst a beautiful valley. The boardwalk should be to enlighten the arrival of thieves 😃 for the policeman from a far off distance and so maybe its called a policeman creek.

Policeman's Creek? There should be a good reason for that name 😁
The boardwalk is like a pathway cutting across a field of pines and I believe you when you say the view with blue skies is extraordinary.

Not even sure how that happened...sorry, wasn't intentional. Meant to post in photography lovers (this is embarrassing).

That's a real pretty area. The wood walkways remind me a lot of Yellowstone National Park here in the US. The wood pathways are to prevent people from accidentally falling through into boiling hot springs only a few inches below the surface in some place.

Great shots! The black and whites really work well with the overcast skies. Beautiful!

That’s one of the places I’d like to visit someday. Hope I can get there before the whole place blows! Thanks @thebighigg.
