Out and About

Yesterday I went on a long walk (no elevation gain, so I will call it a walk not a hike). The weather was perfect, if anything it was too warm, but I’ll take it! (as Winter is just around the corner, so I shouldn’t complain..) Everyone seems to hate Winter, I don’t mind it so much myself actually. Sure hiking is nearly impossible, but one can still enjoy outdoor walks when the sun is shining. If I really wanted to, I could hop on a plane and go down to Mexico or the southern US, or even Hawaii if need be. Speaking of Hawaii, what is the hiking like there, does anyone know? It is super beautiful in that region, so I’m sure it would be a great adventure to try out sometime!

You should have enjoyed the nature thoroughly I believe. So cool pics. Here we do only walks my friend, and no hike. For hiking we have to select hill station. Enjoy your walk !

I like the vibrancy of the colored ones and I also appreciate the feeling of having solemnity with the black and white

Glad you appreciate both versions, not everyone likes both. Thanks.

So a hike is quite different from a walk when there's elevation involved in the former?

Well that is my opinion, if a zero elevation gain walk is greater than 2 hours, then it could qualify as a hike.

Beautiful photos! A nice walk without the hike is always nice. Hawaii does have a lot of hiking areas so no lack of things to do there. Winter where I live doesn't get too cold so I love that about the area, just over crowded and expensive!

I’m really going to have to look into some Hawaiian hikes for the future. Thanks for stopping by.
