On the Road in Kananaskis Country
After resting for a month or so, from our trip out to the Canadian Rockies last Summer, it was time for another outing. This time, Kananaskis country. Located just east of Banff, Kananaskis country is the next best thing to Banff or Jasper. In some ways, it is very equal. In the past there was no fee to enter the area, however about three years back, they decided to monetize Kananaskis. Either pay the daily rate or buy a yearly pass. For now a daily pass will work, as I am not sure how often I will get out here, and already have a Banff/Jasper yearly pass.

I'm a mountain guy, grew up in the mountains and I love them! Although I spent many years living in the islands I always end up back in the mountains... That looks a lot like driving through Wyoming. The Canadian Rockies are beautiful!
Those black and whites remind me of the old Ansel Adams photos, nice shots!
Nothing much compares to the Rocky Mountains in my opinion. Inspired by Ansel Adams for sure! Thanks.

I like seeing mountain areas like this. When it comes to views I prefer color ones because I can see all the characters of the objects, but I also like black and white pictures. where darling lives there is a mountain called "burni telong" but that place now requires buying a ticket as well in recent years, it used to be free to enter that place...
Generally I prefer the colours as well, but not always. Thanks for visiting.
