Nose Hill Park Fall Colours

IMG_20230928_104219_Original.jpeg

This is my favourite park, Nose Hill Park in Calgary, Alberta. This is one HUGE place, located smack dab in the middle of the city. It sports approximately 11 square kilometres of territory, and is apparently one of the largest urban parks in all of North America. Wow! I managed to get in a good walk/hike while the sun was still out. When the clouds started to roll in, I decided to call it and return to home base. I did manage to snap a few photos while out and about. Now this post is all about the colours, but you know me, I have included the black and whites as well, just for some deeper perspective. Here they are:

Stunning scenery. From the photos, I can understand why it's your favourite! That being said, is it safe over there? I'm guessing it probs is (well as compared to here in South Africa).. but just wondered nonetheless. Keep well my friend.

I did carry a can of bear spray while out and about. For predators, animal or the human kind. Generally don't have to worry about the humans.

That must be pretty dope (not worrying about human danger).. different this part of the world my good friend. Some carry pepper spray for the criminal element..

For now, things seem relatively sane around here.

Probably aspen, but I’m not an expert on that sort of thing. Ansel Adams was the best!
