Nipika Mountain Resort

Come, let’s go to Nipika. Located just outside Kootenay National Park, and about thirty minutes from Radium hot springs, British Columbia. Known for its hiking, biking and winter cross country skiing. In order to get here, one has to travel on a mountain logging road (which was super dusty). I imagine this keeps some from wanting to come out here, which was perfect for us, the fewer people the better imo. So we arrive here and there is virtually no one else around, it was surreal! It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves almost. Fantastic

With a combination of a blue sky, the green surroundings, and the nice landscape, I would have enjoyed my time hiking there too. You captured nicely! Enjoy 😉

I think you are one of us, the less people the better, I liked pictures 4 and 5, I liked picture 4 because that path between the pines must be great, and picture 5 because it is a panoramic, and very well framed.

Nothing worse than a crowded trail. It just takes away from the outdoor experience. Thanks for stopping by.

The sights are unbelievable. I can understand how fewer people even makes it better. It's just an amazing place to reflect and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Nature can be so enjoyable, but crowds do take away from the experience. Thanks for stopping by.

I love those pine trees! I don't keep a real Christmas tree in the house but they sure smell good. I love that pine spell! Beautiful pictures, is Radium going to be a return trip this next year?
