Nature’s Debris
A common sight at the edge of a lake or river is the fallen tree. Usually stripped bare of its bark, smooth, shiny, and devoid of branches. That being said, they are very photogenic and interesting to look at, and even sometimes can be used as a makeshift bridge to get you from one dry area to another. Photos taken near Athabasca falls, Jasper National Park, Alberta.

I find the smooth wood very attractive and have many uses for it. It is also very handy to use as a bridge. :)
Nice to get a little internet and drop in on you!
Gladly appreciated you stopping by!
Apparently they are important for fish spawning. Our guidelines for deadfall along the lakeshore is to leave it in the water for fish habitat.
Oh, thats interesting. I've never heard of that before!
Hello. @daveks
A well-known scammer from Nigeria has been scamming rewards in your community with fraudulent accounts.
They all have the same, typical editing and look. Fake photos, random locations, plagiarised writing.
The scammer has created over 600 accounts in the last 3 years.
We would recommend not automatically upvoting all accounts published in your tag to avoid rewarding the scammer.
It is recommended to do basic due diligence before curating any posts/accounts.
His most recent accounts that have been scamming you are:

shockaholic

Ok thanks for the heads up!
These fraudulent posts can be easily detected by looking at the structure of writing and formatting. Scammer always follows the same pattern on these accounts. I recommend looking them up to see the pattern.
Yeah, usually before I vote, I glance down the history of the person a bit to see if there are any downvotes. That being said, if I can’t attract any good quality posters, I may discontinue the colour/black and white community alltogether or perhaps just no votes unless rep is at least a 60 or above.
Voting accounts with a higher reputation would be a solution to avoid scammy accounts.
The water has a lot of power.
Neat capture. The crossed trees remind me of a cross, Even has some thorns,
