Mountain Landscapes

(Edited)

Nothing quite like Mountain Landscapes. Does anything else even come close? Probably not, mountain landscapes are very unique. Jagged, rough and rocky are the key characteristics here. No two views look the same really. This is the kind of variety that keeps me coming back for more and more, season after season, year after year, time after time! What activity do you really love that keeps you coming back for more, year after year, season after season? Do tell!

Yes, no two mountains are the same. Each unique, picturesque and I do agree with you that not many things can come close in comparison.

Everyone finds an activity that they like to do year after year, some go to the sea on a beach to lounge in the sun and let time pass while others are in the countryside and take walks to discover the nature of all the different places he visits. . . Another who skis every year as a winter sport. Another one who goes fishing on the banks of a river waiting for a fish that will never come but that doesn't matter, he's not there to catch any. In my case, what I really like is doing everything and doing nothing! There is one thing I hate waiting in the sun on the sand while time passes. But I love being on the sand exploring the treasures of the sea. The fauna and flora. Living far from the sea, when I go in its direction I like to glean a souvenir from the beach that comes straight from the sea and then use it and transform it into a useful or useless object hahaha. When I go to the mountains, I look for focile crystals even though I know I won't necessarily find any. It doesn't matter, I'm looking. After everything I have just written, a bit like a psychoanalyst, I realize that what I like to do is search. I can finally consider myself a researcher.

I’m like you. Sitting on the beach in the sun isn’t for me. Maybe up to 30 min max. I like to explore new things, and even if I hike the same route twice, there is always something new to check out. Thanks for the detailed comment.

In the third photo, it looks like the dried-up bed of a mountain river.

If I was there 2 months earlier, there would be a much more active mountain river.

Nothing comes close… except maybe beautiful sunsets on the Lake.

We can have a debate about that :)

Such a gorgeous place! There really isn't a feeling quite like being up in the mountains majesty. Black and whites came out awesome.
