Mountain Lake Reflections
One of my favourite things about hiking in the mountains, are the mountain reflections off the lake. Especially with super clear clean water like this here, at Silver Springs Lakes, East Kootenay, British Columbia. Imagine canoeing or kayaking on this pure calm water! For this day though, hiking was the objective. Perhaps next time, we will bring some kayaks or just swimming gear to try some cliff jumping. Or both! True, the reflections are just unimaginable.. seeing the depth of the water from the surface shows how clean the water can be..

Those really are pretty, but the color reflections take the day in my book. It is fun to get to a peaceful clear water lake and see those reflections, nothing quite like it! You got some beautiful shots!

That contrast of tones in the reflection of the lake that you were able to capture was undoubtedly spectacular.
