Mountain Above, River Below

Mountain above, river below. Isn’t that the way it usually works? Here we are at Sunwapta Falls, Jasper Park. These photos are the creation of my Sony A7R III (with a little help from Lightroom). A lot more detail in these shots versus the ones taken with my smartphone (obviously). It has been approximately three years or so since our last visit here, really a must stop as you make your way southward down the Icefields Parkway. Not as grand as the Athabasca falls, but certainly a worthwhile stop,

Nice photos @daveks ! Sometimes I prefer B&W, but for example it seems to be winter and the river looks like snow!

Yeah, I can see that effect. Like an illusion.

The place is beautiful, but I'm sure getting here is not easy.

Dear @daveks Of course, all your visits are worth it and are impressive, how good it is to be in Sunwapta Falls, Jasper Park. You have a very good camera, because the photos are excellent. Thanks in advance, for your visits to my publications, yesterday I did a day of yoga on the beach in front of the Caribbean Sea, which you will like, waiting for your comments. successes
