Looking Down on Waterton
(Edited)
This is probably the best view of Waterton Lake one can get, unless you have drone footage (which is illegal in our National Parks). Recently we had the opportunity to visit Waterton National Park, located in the southern tip of Alberta. This was our first time in this park. Honestly, I can’t believe it took me this long to come here. The premiere or most popular short hike in the area is called the “Bear Hump” (from a distance, it does actually look like a Bear hump). The reason it is so popular is simple: most reward for the effort. The views from up top were spectacular! The hardest part about the hike itself was only the extreme heat of the day, reaching temperatures over 30°C. Yikes it was hot, but well worth it! We certainly had to drink a ton of water to stay hydrated. What have you been up to this summer?

The natural beauty is extraordinary and I also saw the results of this photography.
Thanks!
Those photo graphs are coo man. But the hills look fake in the 1st picture.
Yeah, looks kinda surreal, but that is how it looked. It was super hot and humid.
Is this in all the national parks, or is this an odd one?
It is illegal in all national parks. Fines are pretty substantial too.
Those views looks absolutely incredible brother, especially after a hot hike.
It was incredible, really. Thanks.
welcome brother
These shots are really good, I don't know why they'll ban drones, I guess it probably interferes with the privacy of people and all that. However the shots you took had great distances and covered amazing depths. Awesome.
I think if they were to allow drones, then the park would soon be swarming with them, and they would certainly become a big nuisance. Thanks as usual for stopping by!
That's actually true. I thought it was because of privacy
Probably for that reason as well.
What a beautiful view! It makes that 30 degree heat more tolerable, and I'm glad you guys stayed hydrated. That first picture almost makes the lake on the right to be a finger lake, very nice shot!
That hike does look a little taxing, especially in the heat. It does give a great panoramic view, I can see why it's a National Park!
Have a great Sunday, hopefully soon things will cool down a bit for some more hiking!
Thanks, like I mentioned before, may have to avoid hiking during mid summer. Fall is looking more and more favourable, cant wait! Thanks as usual for stopping by.
