Lakeside Kananaskis

Here are some lakeside photos captured, as I walked around the amazing Elbow Lake. What else is there to say? Obviously I had a lot of fun circling the lake! With views like this, it would be hard not to enjoy myself. Hiking around places like this is heavenly, or at least the closest thing to it. Wanna jump into that crystal clear turquoise green water? Yeah, I do too. I imagine it would be super cold though, who cares, they say bathing in ice cold water is great for your body health. Helps you stay grounded. Ever heard of grounding?

I’d jump in … as long as there was a sauna near by.

One of my favorite hilly areas is the hill looks really awesome. It is more pleasant to live in such a region

Eroding away and crumbling into the lake or so it seems.

That looks amazing, I forgot where you live man but I am jealous of you and having this type of scenery close to home.

I've been telling the fam I want to move to the countryside but given that we need good schools and hospitals and all that stuff close to us, this is a no-go right now.

Some day...

Yeah, I get it. Have to look after the family first, try and get away when you can to the countryside!

That is a beautiful lake, it does make me want to jump right in but with age comes the knowledge that I don't want to freeze my ass off! I think your color shots take the day here, the colors are amazing! I could spend all day there just relaxing!

Healthy for someone else maybe! I've had my fair share of ice cold river water over the years!

The green water is inviting alright and I wouldn't mind the temperature as long as it's not icy, but even a dip would do. Magnificent shots of a magnificent Lake.
