Kananaskis Kamera roll

Today I present to some pictures I took while walking around Elbow lake. The mountains around here are pretty much as big as the ones you will find inside Banff National Park. Beauty-wise they are close, but if I had to choose, the ones further West in Banff are more majestic. All in all, one can appreciate everything Canada’s Rockies have to offer, and they are special in their own ways. Doesn’t the lake water look pristine? So clear and beautiful, wouldn’t you say. If you look carefully, you can see some anglers trying their luck on the opposite shore. Good luck to them. Soon it will be time to find my way to Rae glacier, but first I will need to figure out where the trail begins, as it is not shown on any signage. Wish me luck.

Epic shot's and destination. The water looks like the best water to drink, unlike the nasty we get locally or plastic bottles. lol

One could probably just drink that water in a pinch, still probably filter it though.

It looks like Switzerland and I can say that the waters there are pristine just by staring at the photo. I love black and white photos but not beautiful tourist spots such as this, I want to see them in vivid colors.

It's settled.. the lakes by you are definitely among the most spectacular looking in the world. Is that snow on the mountain? ..or what type of rock is it? Some sort of limestone maybe? Thanks as always for sharing the cool pics.

That is snow near the top, it is very common around here actually. Appreciate the kind words @ma3str0.

Yeah?! Too bad! Then, maybe you come around to HIVE JP community and interact with members instead?! 😉 It seems that it was just established a couple of weeks ago. It's okay to use either in English or in Japanese. It would be nice to exchange anything related to #Japan and #Japanese いい仲間に出会うといいですねぇ~。
