Icefields Parkway
(Edited)
Now I was undecided if I was going to lead with the colours or the black and whites today. After some careful thought, the black and white won out. Did I make the right decision? Let me know in the comments. I am beginning to truly love highway photography like this. Photographing shots like this is nearly impossible, unless you are in a moving vehicle. Otherwise you have to pull over on the shoulder and trepidatiously step on to the highway. Simply too dangerous, most of the time. Not to mention the possibility of getting fined by the Parks Police. The last shot is an extra from our brief stop at the Columbia Icefields, which I will be getting into more at a later date. By the way, did you go anywhere interesting last Summer? Tell me where!

Have you heard of the new “Colour / Black & White” photography community? It launched in July, and now we are heading into the third month, and slowing gaining subscribers. Created for those that love both genres of photography. I will be personally curating qualifying posts.

Lovely shot! Great angle and good balance between foreground and background elements, i like it a lot 🤩
Appreciate that thanks.
Great shot from the car window, from the angle, it looks like the photographer wasn't the one driving ). Lightroom must be handy to get the bugs off the windshield. Can't wait to drive up Icefields Parkway, last time I barely remember it.
With the mountainous back drop it seems the road goes on forever. That is neat! Thanks!
Always love driving these highways. Thanks for looking.
