Hot Dogs or Hamburgers?
So the big question is: Hot Dogs or Hamburgers? I suppose it depends on which side of the fence you are on. Meaning, are you the one cooking, or are you mostly just doing all the eating part. If I am the “chef du jour”, then I would have to side with hot dogs. Hot Dogs equals less work involved, which is music to my ears when is comes to cooking stuff. If I am on the side of eating and not cooking, then I would definitely have to go with hamburgers (with cheese of course). So pull up a chair, fire up the barbecue, and lets get at it, hey don’t forget the BBQ sauce. Photos taken at Cascade Ponds, Banff National Park, Alberta.

I don't eat meat. But when I did, there was nothing like a good hot dog. With horseradish and cheese.

About 20 years now. My wife was a vegan when I met her, so I basically just adopted her way. It used to be damn impossible to find anything without meat in Japan, as you may know. I don't know how she survived her childhood avoiding meat so much. It's much easier to do these days.
I went vegan for one year myself actually. The place to be vegan would be best in Japan. The tofu dishes are fantastic.

I prefer burgers, but if I am cooking over a campfire, hot dogs are better. And I consider proper bratwurst or other sausages like kielbasa as distinct from, and superior to, hot dogs.

Otherwise, I'd jump on burgers... dont like hot dogs - tho I admit they may look pretty photo-friendly and appetizing! I still remember the very special hot dogs I consumed at Poznan 14 years ago, lol. 🍕 Hive !PIZZA back.
Good point. I love me some good sandwiches too. Sandwiches are very practical and easy to manage.
