Homestretch

IMG_20240918_164926_Original.jpeg

All good things must come to an end they say. This is the very last leg of our hiking experience up at Sunshine Meadows, Banff Park, Alberta. This is the “Homestretch” you might say. After spending about four hours here, it felt good to be wrapping this hike up. It is a great feeling actually to finish an exhilarating and enjoyable hike. To top it all off, we got to take the chair lift and gondola back down, which really makes this one of my favourite activities in all the Canadian Rockies! What was your favourite activity of this last year? Do tell in the comment section.

what a shot. I like this picture, the combination of leaf colors is very beautiful plus the path makes the view even more interesting.

The view from top of the gondola is breathtaking. It feels quite surreal and wonderful.

I can imagine how cool it must have been to wrap up the hike with a gondola ride—it’s like the perfect reward after all that effort. My favorite activity last year was a nature walk at a local park—it wasn’t as grand, but the connection with nature was just as special.

Exactly!

Nature walks are the best, hope you can get on more walks next year!

There is some nice elevation in that trail looking down. It sure it a pretty place. There really is nothing like finishing a challenging hike, it feels great. I'm still amazed at how well they upkeep those trails!

It's one of the biggest cities in Venezuela, I visited it recently for a hive calisthenics event that took place on Sunday. Really enjoy when I go there because where I live is a very small city and I love to know new places, especially in a big city, I walked a lot there, I've met more than the last time I went there.
