Heart of the Rockies

(Edited)

Here are the Canadian Rockies, as seen from Canmore, Alberta. Although not located inside Banff Park, Canmore is home to many permanent workers, that support the tourism industry in the area. So you might say it is the heartbeat that keeps tourism going. Without the hospitality staff, guides, professionals and other integral people, the Canadian Parks machine would come to a grinding halt. Hats off to the people that keep this machine well oiled and well kept for all of us to enjoy!

It's so beautiful and mysterious! It's like the mountain is floating in the clouds, absolutely stunning.

Those clouds and mist work so well in the B&W's, very nice job. We often do forget the staff at those incredible places that keep them beautiful, it's great that you included them!

Would sure be a lot more difficult to appreciate, without the workers.

There are probably going to be hotels around to cater for the numerous tourists that are flocking into the area. Nice shots

So beautiful captures. From afar they look like Christmas tree. Definitely appreciate the peoples behind this beauty, but in most places are not recognized.

Was looking at some of the townhouse condos going on the market in the Three Sisters development area thinking I could see myself living there. What more does one need than to wake up sipping coffee with a view like this every single day?

I could get used to that. We could be neighbours someday.
