Harvest
It’s that time of the year again, harvest. That being said, most Canadian prairie farmers at this time, are in their final hours of wrapping things up. From what I have heard, crop yields are not spectacular. You have to be a bit of a gambler if you farm, as you are at the mercy of the weather. Perhaps thats an over simplification. I certainly am no expert on farming, that is for sure. However, if you get the right kind of weather and other vital things right, then farming can be very lucrative! Farming is a way of life for some on the prairies, sometimes I wish I had grown up on a farm. Cattle, chickens, the whole nine yards. Wouldn’t that have been cool. Fresh eggs all the time, I would have loved that! But all them farm chores, ummmm.

Nice shot's. I missed the farming out here where my parents land is but I do see all the rolls, rolled up. I think farming is so cool but yeah all the work, not sure if I can do all that. Haha
I couldn't imagine waking up at 5am to feed the cows or whatever happens at that early hour. Hats off to those that do.
Dad farmed in the 40's & beyond, a friend of my dads [a farmer] said people go to Vegas to gamble & we gamble for a living.
A peculiar way to make a living in some sense. Certainly not for everyone.
No that is right , you gotta be resilient & patient.
I wish I could have a farm where I could eat fresh eggs, fresh milk, fresh meats, cheese, butter, and a variety of other foods. The only problem is a lack of a suitable location to begin farming.
Anyway, I really like the photos.
Exactly, and the startup costs. Thanks for visiting @asgharali.

I think I sometimes have to get back to the countryside cuz I sure miss such sightings.
You and me both.
I reckon, it's a life which would have suited me just fine. I don't relate well to the busy city life. I so long for peace and tranquility my dear friend. Maybe somehow, someday.. I'll be able to live in the middle of nowhere and find it. Take care mate. As always, I really enjoy your posts.. those harvesters are wild, hey!
Sometimes the city life is just too fast and noisy, not to mention the pollution!
That is very true my friend @daveks the climate is essential for agriculture or phytotechnics, not only in the agricultural part, also for animal husbandry, that is, zootechnics, logically having very well fertilized soil. Your publication is very nice and educational friend @daveks . Thank you for always visiting me. Successes.
Yes indeed @omarrojas, have a great week!
Likewise, brother @daveks , I wish you a happy and successful week, personally and in Hive.
