Gnarly Incoming

(Edited)

The clouds all of as sudden got darker, then we saw this Gnarly Incoming scrolling cloud formation! Ok, had to stop the vehicle and get some pics. This may have been the most menacing cloud formation I have ever seen. I’m sure there was a high possibility of a tornado forming (right?). Well I was certainly not going to wait around to photograph a tornado….a couple of quick pics and we were oughta there. Have you experienced any menacing weather lately? Thanks for stopping by.

These are some good pictures man. I have never seen menacing clouds like that man. I would drive away. XD I like the light shining through the clouds in the last pics.

It felt like the storm was closing in on us! Grabbed some pics and fled. Thanks for stopping by.

It is called a “shelf cloud”? Ok, good to know. Thanks @marjanko.

Yes. It’s one of the most beautiful and dangerous clouds…and if the conditions are right it can go into a super cell/Mesocyclone.

Then the right conditions can produce a tornado 🌪️

Wow! That’s pretty ferocious. It makes me think of the song/myth of Ghost Riders on the Storm.

We’ve had some pretty wild weather and menacing skies over here lately too.

Is that right? How are things going in Japan lately? And your art?

Yeah, we’ve had some big storm fronts and amazing cloud formations. My students were pretty distracted the other day watching one of the blackest clouds I’ve ever seen racing across the sky.

The art thing is happening little by little.

A tornado incoming. It was a smart choice to take some shots and move on. We use to have a couple of these and sometimes the downpour destroys properties

Exactly, if not the rain, then the hail, and sometimes they can be large, smash car windows and other things!

Whoa, these are so bad azz. I have been in some similar situations but these shots are awesome, once I get through my edits maybe I have some cool ones to show one day. Have a blessed Saturday my friend.

Seeing these clouds in the sky was almost shocking, all of sudden out of nowhere or so it seemed. Thanks, you as well.

Wow this is amazing. Just the way the clouds blend in, it's so expensive 😍

This is a delightfully photographed panorama, composed with precision and taking advantage of everything that is there (roads, poles, wires, horizons, light and dark, clouds, grassland)!!!... Apotheotic image!... You captured it with your brain as well as the camera, few people do that!... And in B&W it is majestic!...

I was at the right place at the right time, although some would call it the wrong place to be with the chance of a tornado looming. Thanks @jlinaresp!

I also love color and b/w. BUT in this case, black and white gives more atmosphere, the main panorama is perfect in everything, great work)

Thanks, I thought I’d lead with the black and whites on this post for that very reason. Thanks @alokeen.
