Glacier National Park

Today we had the pleasure of entering the U.S.! Did you know that Waterton National Park (in Canada) and Glacier National Park are connected? Connected via Waterton lake. We took a “boat tour” which took us across the 49th parallel, and into the US. The cruise was about 2 hours in length, which included a 30 minute stopover on the southern shore of Waterton, in the U.S. There was a brief presentation by a local Park Ranger, a quick dip in the water, and then back on the boat. The weather was once again quite hot, but all in all, a good experience it was. Here are a few of the pictures I took:

Camera: Huawei P40 Pro
Lens: Leica
Editing: Lightroom

Nice info with excellent photography. Blue vs. Green. Too good landscape photos. Though hot, Happy hiking friend.

Your photography always attracts me and I can guess to looking at these beautiful shorts how much fun you had in this place. I would like to take a long look at these pictures again. The beauty of nature is evident in these photos 😍

Especially, this picture shows a very calm atmosphere 🥰

Yes they were! The park bench area is the US, but the far part of the photo, in the middle is Canada.

Nice quick trip to the US! Glacier National Park is beautiful, I didn't know it was connected to Waterton, that's very cool! I love those pictures, such a pretty lake with the mountains in the background. What's not to love? I hope the dip in the water cooled things down some on a hot day like that!

I didn't know those parks were connected. A very good lookout from that bench! It would be nice to sit there and pray.
