Farg

(Edited)

Ever heard of a “Farg”? Neither have I, that is because it is not a Farg, but a “Fargo” with a missing O. I really love them old beaten up trucks. This one is a 1957 model. Looks like the price tag on this guy is $3,100. Imagine driving down your local main drag, behind the wheel of this old Farg, you most certainly would get a lot of looks. I bet you might get as many “looks” as a convertible Corvette. Just different kinds of “looks” lol. What are you up to this weekend?

This must be the top truck in 1957, seeing from the style that it was made, I can understand how popular it was, nice photos @daveks

The GMC was also very popular at that time, and they do look similar. Thanks for stopping by.

I bet a random guy might just make away with 3k just to buy this oldie, it looks really iconic for 1950s rodeo. Cool shots too.

If I the extra space and the mechanical skills to fix her up, I'd be a buyer. Thanks @josediccus.

That's for sure right? "They don't make em like they used", is a very true statement. Thanks.

That Fargo definitely needs some serious love, it looks really sad. If you like rustic though, they don't come much more "finely aged" than that example!

The black and white added to the photos make them look like they've been taken in the 50's. If I had the time, I would restore it to its formal beauty. To answer your question: This weekend I stayed home, listened to the Mass live-streamed, went to a potluck, visited with people, and just finished watching a episode of the 1950's TV show Buccaneers.

Buccaneers? Never heard of it! What is it about? Thanks for stopping by for a look.

The show takes place in the 1700's or so and is about an English outpost, pirates, and ships.
