Farewell Helen Lake

DSC06428.jpeg

Farewell Helen Lake, its been a slice. I have finally exhausted all my pics from both dslr and smartphone cameras. All in all the experience was I’d say about a 7/10 approximately. I did manage to get a lot of fantastic photos, considering the weather we were dealt. Total time spent on this hike was about four and a half hours. If I hadn’t taken so many pictures then it would only have taken about four hours. Documenting the hike with plenty of photos does take time, and certainly does slow one down. One of the benefits of stopping repeatedly to photograph, is it allows you to rest somewhat as the elevation rises or declines. I do look forward to coming back again someday, and hopefully that will be on a nice sunny day with plenty of blues skies! Tomorrow we head back to one of my favourite lakes, stay tuned.

👀😱😍 Each landscape has its particularities, each one is beautiful in its own way... I just wonder what it would be like to be in person in places like that... your work is really incredible... I congratulate you.

Yes, I will wait for blue skies or it’s a no go, at least for this one again. Thanks @shoemanchu.

Helen Lake is indeed a pleasure to treasure and the snow covered smokey mountain makes it even more scenic.
