Eager Hill
(Edited)
What is the next best thing to hiking up a mountain? If you said, “Well that would be hiking up a hill, silly”, you would be correct. This is Eager Hill, a nice short little hike, with only slight elevation gain. The weather was a mix of sun and cloud, not perfect but good enough. A perfect warm down hike, after something more difficult the day before (that would be our hike to Hourglass Lake). Located only minutes from Cranbrook, British Columbia, this is an easy accessible pleasant hike. Highly recommended, if you have a couple hours to spare.

a beautiful place..
Thanks!
You are welcome, my brother
The words written are true. It has a scenic view and you find solitude as you reach the hill. Have you seen an eagle while hiking?
Once or twice I have seen an eagle over the years.
You sure are in an amazing place.😊
Eager Hill looks like a really peaceful escape!l. I love finding easy hikes like this. Did you see any wildlife on your hike?
Spotted a grouse, which I photographed. Will post that at a later date. Thanks.
You're most welcome brother, would love to see that definitely
It's a vast area of hiking trail, are there snakes around?
Yes there may be some, as far as I know.
Looks beautiful, shots are nice too. I need to get back out and hike more, maybe need to leave the camera behind and just enjoy the nature.
Leaving the camera behind would certainly change the dynamic of the experience for sure. Thanks.
Those short hikes can be nice when you don't have a full day to dedicate to the climb. It's a beautiful area. Those B&W's really bring out some nice details there.
Thanks, yeah some hiking is better than no hiking 100%.
The views look so inviting, I would not want to stop hiking when I am there! Thank you so much for sharing.
Sometimes you just want to keep going and going. Thanks.
