Disc Mountain
Check out this mountain sculpture, it sort of looks like a large disc, at least that is what comes to mind when looking at it! I’m going to nickname it “disc mountain”. On the opposite side is Helen Lake, the end point to today’s hike. Although I learned that one can actually continue beyond the lake and upward for a better view of the valley. Perhaps I’ll leave that for next time. The elements were not cooperating so perfectly, meaning it was windy with a light rain, and overcast. Not ideal for an amateur photographer like yours truly. This hike will remain on my radar for another attempt someday in the near future. Can hardly wait to go back for round two. Next time the elements must be in full cooperation mode. At the very least, blue skies would be awesome.

DISC Mountain 🏔️
I like the photos and this type of mountain, which appears to be antique. Thank you for sharing ☺️
It was a unique find, thanks for looking.
These are nice photos. Somehow, I like the black and white version so much. I think it’s because of the lines on the surface of the mountain. Beautiful! Keep it up.
Black & white and mountains tend to go well together. Thanks for stopping by @curamax.
The pleasure is mine. Have a great day ahead ☀️
Looks like a UFO crashed into the land. 🛸
It actually sort of does, thanks @bitphoto.

What gorgeous scenery as always. Looks like a great place to hike, is it already blanketed in white yet up there?
By now, I’m sure it is all white, elevation is fairly high. Thanks for looking @thebighigg.
