Cooper Lake Trail Camera Roll
(Edited)
Cooper Lake was our first planned hike, after arriving in Cranbrook, British Columbia. In order to get there, we had to follow a logging road for about 25 minutes or so, which was fun and interesting. Definitely a good idea to be in a rugged vehicle for this type of road. The hike to the lake is about 4km or so, with under 200 metres of elevation gain. On a scale of Easy to Hard, this one definitely rates as easy. Half the fun was getting to the trailhead via that logging road! Here are the first few photos taken during this hiking excursion.

This place is nice and it must be fun to go hiking there. A great experience of natural beauty..
It was an easy worthwhile hike, definitely would do it again. Thanks.
nature at its best
Gotta love nature. Thanks.
Starting from a bed of roses, looks like the first pic seems to welcome you with coloured flowers. What is that 6th one coming down from the tree. Is it a nest of any bird ?
Good question! Not a nest, some kind of tree fuzz. I suppose there is an official word for it, but I'm not sure what is the correct word. Thanks for stopping by.
Ah..ok. another new info
So you did a 25 minutes hike? How many people were there altogether?
Actually, we drove that 25 minutes to get to the trailhead. I did not see anyone else on the trail at all! Just us. Usually I hike solo or with 2 or 3 others.
That looks like a nice easy stroll more than a hike, but it sure is pretty. That first picture with the line of wild flowers with the lodge pole pines in the background. Very pretty! What kind of bird was that you found? Grouse? I loved the X roots, reminds me of the old Indiana Jones movie Last Crusade where X never ever marks the spot, yet in the end it did! Beautiful shots! Nothing like a day in the outdoors... This deserves some:

You just got DUO from @thebighigg.
They have 1/1 DUO calls left.
Learn all about DUO here.
Probably was a grouse I’d say. As well as the “X” root configuration, I found this rock that looks like the state of Texas. I’ll publish on random Friday I think. Thanks for the DUO!
Very nice, the cover shot with that pink in it is epic. Looks like a fun day.
I got that photo just before the trailhead actually. Thanks.
I suggest to check this one out guys www.minepi.com/zdigital huge airdrops, will be live in early 2025.
Beautiful!
