No, this is not a CG image or computer generated image. The CG here stands for Canada Goose. Just playin around with a title for today’s post lol. Thanks to the high megapixel sensor on my Sony, it allows closeups like this, for me to show you. These Big birds are really quite large, weighing in on average of about 8lb or 3.6kg. However it is reported that they can grow to be as heavy as 18lb or 8kg, in some cases. You may need to consider finding cover as they fly by, to avoid the potential incoming excrement. Thanks for stopping by.

Camera: Sony A7R III

I agree.😊 3kg is quite heavy. I think it's dangerous for the little child. Is it friendly?

No, these birds are best viewed from a distance. Get to close and they may charge at you!

Ah, that explains why the government cares for the Goose. It's one of the tourist spots of your place.😊

These are really large and I can only imagine the size of their excreta, it can come as a slap on the face or on the head, for that unlucky fellow... Hehehehe.
The Photography has clarity.

Of course it's not a computer generated image, it's the good photographic eye you have and that wonderful Sony. Beautiful close-up shots @daveks friend! I loved them 😍

Wow bro the close-up details you captured are amazing. Canada Geese are indeed massive, and your photos really highlight their size very well. I never realized they could weigh up to 18 pounds😳😳😳

Nice shots of that beautiful bird! They really are pretty, and really big too. I can tell you kept your distance, I don't know why geese are so aggressive. I do agree about taking cover as they are taking off though or it can get messy!

Gotta love that high resolution. I very much enjoy it on my Sony as well. Even the APSC crop mode is what high res used to be!
