Canmore Black & White

avatar
(Edited)

Today I am leading with the black & white photos. That’s the kind of mood I am in, plus, I think they look better than the colours. The black & whites tend to bring out the jagged mountain edges quite well. Could you imagine waking up every morning to views like this? Like I mentioned yesterday, Canmore, Alberta would certainly make a great retirement destination for just about anyone. I am lucky to have easy access to this majestic gem of the Canadian Rockies. Canada is the best place to live in my opinion, especially Alberta!

It was probably about -2°C or so, actually comfortable, but not balmy!

They both are amazing, both variations to me but they do give off two types of feelings in their own way, cant go wrong with these awesome images. I heard their is a rare white Grizzle out there in Alberta, you hear anything about it?

Yeah, I think it is actually just a very very light coloured grizzly bear, looking white at a glance, but not an albino or something like that.

Looking at the Mountains they appear to be floating in the clouds, your black and white really did justice. They fog added to this mystery look yeah?
I agree totally with you and I hope to be in Canada someday.
