Brook’s ’N Streams

Here we are on the hiking trail to Hourglass Lake, located somewhere in East Kootenay, British Columbia. One thing that sticks out about this hike is all the brooks and streams we had to cross. In yesterday’s post, I shared that wobbly rickety bridge, crossing that stream. Just shortly after that stream, we came upon a brook, but this time we were blessed with a better, sturdier walking bridge. If you look closely, someone has carved out a “hourglass” on the first log. Cool eh! Also, so many pretty little flowers along the hiking trail, and some neat looking plants (probably some type of flower in it’s pre-bloom state, but not exactly sure) as well. Have you had a chance to do any hiking yet this year?

Journey along with nature. The round cut logs placed over the walking bridge seems to be a clever idea. And the last pic looks like a blue rock. Interesting. Enjoy your hike 👍

Something about monochrome pictures. I can't place my finger on it but there's a certain serenity about them that I cannot explain

It takes you back to a time when there was less stress in the world (maybe). Thanks.

That hike looks amazing. I love the idea of finding little surprises like the carved hourglass. Have a great time exploring dear friend.

Well these are cool my friend, I like that plant one, wonder how much further it will grow and or if it has any bloom of flowers or maybe it doesn't.
