Bridge Scenery

Here are a few angles of scenery, as seen from the Engine bridge, located inside the town of Canmore, Alberta. This is one old bridge. Check out the iron trusses holding it together. Walking across it is like going back in time. 1924 or 2024? Take your pick. In the background, normally one can see the mountains. However on this day, the fog was extreme, thus virtually covering the entire mountain from view. Would have been nice to soak in some incredible mountain views, but today, it just wasn’t meant to be. We’ll have to settle for river, trees, and bridges for now.

Nice collections. Is the walking area of bridge made of wood. The colour of river in greenish blue adds to the beauty of scenery. With the mountain view sure it will look more beautiful.

I am decorating a new house and only then when yo want some nice pictures (to frame) you realize you have zero pictures as all is on the phone ( or laptop) nowadays. Our last real camera is collecting dust. But we have YOU!

Sure, may have to invest in some framed pictures to throw up on your walls.

The view from that angle overlooking the green river is beautiful and I can just imagine how the scenery would be with all those mountains in the background.... Whoosh... It would be an absolute stunner.

Those black and whites really work for that bridge, it's a nice effect. It really is a trip back in time. I'm surprised they haven't painted it to prevent further corrosion. The color of the water is beautiful in the river, it must have some particular minerals to achieve it. Awesome photos!

I think it was painted sometime over the last couple of decades. The glacial water is always the most beautiful.
Thanks for looking
