Finally, back to Lake Louise! One of my favourite lakes in all the Canadian Rockies. Also a favourite of many a tourist as well. Check out all the tourists photographing the lake! I have never seen a more photographed lake in my whole life. There is a good reason why this place is so popular, it is drop dead gorgeous. In some ways it is almost not worth going, due to the congestion of people. But it is sort of a silly thought, as the gorgeous views outweigh the negative aspects. I have been waiting for awhile now to publish my dslr pics, which I took back in July. I’m stoked! On this particular day, the plan was to walk around the lake to the far side, then do the Plain of six glaciers hike. Time estimate for this is about 4.5 hours or so. Let’s go!

I know the green colour of the water could be as a result of the reflection of Sunlight but it is calm and soothing, I'm also sure that the Lake would be teeming with vibrant life.

Awesome shot's my friend, this place is amazing and you just have to put your blinders on so you don't see all the people, haha. The pictures definitely make it worth it though.

It's such a beautiful color! What an amazing lake! I see why people go there so often.

I bet the snow may be keeping you out of the higher elevation hikes for the rest of the year unless you're bringing snow shoes!

Seeing your landscapes photographed by you is always a wonderful thing... Those turquoise waters and the angle of capture of the first photo generate an impressive visual impact... But today the photo I loved the most was the one of the water and the stones shot in close-up (third from the top). The composition is precise, eloquent and remarkably instinctive, plus it has an almost magical sense of movement... I dare say that in black and white it is even more artistic, but in colour it has also impressed me immensely... That's perhaps a photo I would love to take in a place like the ones you frequent... As always, thank you for sharing your art on #Hive my friend.
