Back to Elbow
Let’s get back to my hike to Elbow Lake, Kananaskis country, Alberta. The hike to the lake was relatively quick, about forty five minutes or so (shorter than I had expected). I heard that there was a separate trail that branched off the main, and went to Rae Glacier. But where could I find it? So for now, I decided to circle the lake and soak in the views. The lake itself was not too big. It took me approximately forty five minutes or so to walk around. It was such a gorgeous warm day for September! What a perfect place to sit down and have a picnic, so I did. A couple of eggs, mixed nuts, and a clif bar for dessert (in the event I want something sweet, but usually the clif bar goes untouched, but I like to always have one with anyways).

45 mins is a nice walk imo.. I'm kinda comfortable with more or less that level now (had to work my way up haha). Your level of fitness serves as inspiration for me :)

The idea of your “Colour / Black & White” photography community also sounds very engaging. Were there any challenges you encountered while capturing these images?

Spectacular photography…. Now I want to go for a swim. 🏊♂️ … we are having incredible weather out east. 😎 🥵….We closed up the pool and it’s been close to 30 Celsius and sunny the last 2 weeks. … I’m ready to uncover the pool and jump back in.
