Amazing Erosion
(Edited)

This portion of the Athabasca river looks so cool, located just downstream from the falls area, Jasper National Park, Alberta. The rock erosion against a light turquoise coloured water, really looks amazing! Probably took several hundred years for this erosion to take place. A very busy area around here, bustling with tourists, a typical mid-Summer day during peak season. I really wanted to get a picture of the winding downward stairs through the rocks, however I waited, but to no avail. Tourist after tourist kept spoiling my “perfect photo”. So here it is with a few people. I do mostly prefer to photograph without humans present, if at all possible.

The stratified rock is stunning! And wow! That is your money shot!
I actually like people in my pictures sometimes. I think it humanizes the shots.
I get that. For me, maybe it's more of a privacy thing.
I agree which is why, unless permission is gotten, they are obscurred.
