Genealogy: Vertie Belle Foster (1882-1928)

I'm experimenting with posting some random bits of my genealogy research here. This particular individual was born less than 20 years after the Civil War ended and would have lived through World War I. They are not a direct ancestor but a very distant cousin. I have to go back to about 1730 to find a common ancestor. According to the relationship calculator in Gramps, Vertie Belle Foster is my fourth cousin three times removed.
