The One is a gaming magazine that was published in the U.K. Exactly what systems it covered through the course of its publication history varied. Mostly it was 16-bit computers (and sometimes gaming systems). By at least the end of 1995 it was just the Amiga and there really wasn't left of even that market by this time. The December 1995 issue contains only about 50 pages. It includes:

Those Early Bits

• Boot Sector - A look at what is on the cover disk. Included this month is Fantasy Manager, a full football/soccer management game.


• PD Zone - A look at public domain games written in AMOS. A couple of older game collections are looked at this month with games including Glass Back, Snakebyte, Solitaire, Bomber, Light Cycles, Life Expectancy, and more.

• Primal Rage - A preview of a conversion of the arcade dinosaur fighting game for the Amiga.


• Hillsea Lido - A game in which you manage a seaside resort.
