The Legend Of King Arthur - and the sun is out!
Having spent the last week in Cornwall, today has been the best day, weather wise at least, we have had almost constant rain, but now starting to see a change in the weather.
When the weather is nice, Cornwall has to be one of the most beautiful places in the UK, not forgetting the fantastic Isles Of Scilly.
So today, we headed out to Tintagel, a place that is steeped in history and is thought to be the birthplace of King Arthur, there's even cave on the beach that is called "Merlins Cave".
(King Arthur standing on the warm Cornish sun)
One of the reasons why I wanted to go to Tintagel was to go onto the new bridge they have built that now connects the mainland to the headland, and saves going up those steep, narrow, steps that you used to have to use, it makes getting to the headland so much easier.
It was great using the bridge, although it was a bit breezy and you could feel it moving with the wind.
The headland has quite a few ancient dwellings on there although it is hard to imaging where the castle would be as there is very very little left.
If you are visiting Tintagel, I'd advise at least having an English Heritage membership as other wise it would cost £17.60 per adult, which is rather expensive if you ask me.
As the weather is changing and thankfully becoming drier, I was hoping for a decent sunset tonight, but there clouds were too thick tonight and it's also very very windy, I got the above shot with the light rays, but I had to be quick due to the speed of the clouds moving over the sky.
I really hope you've enjoyed this post and hopefully I can get some photography done, finally.
Thanks for reading.
All the best :-)

Beautiful 😍
That statue is so cool.
I am afraid of bridges that shake with the wind, but I enjoy seeing such sights. The rays of the sun through the clouds are very attractive. I also like visiting old castles
