Every Fortnite or so (2 weeks) they change something. A new season is a new map but it also means new weapons, and sometimes they even bring old favourites back. It takes a while to get the hang of the new dynamics, the new locations. Just like life it changes constantly, yet remains so familiar..

Stop and enjoy the Scenery

One thing I really enjoy about this game is the lighting and the shadows, the way the colours and textures align in the light just right. Catch the right angle and witness unique beautiful moments.

This season they upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 and the graphics requirements are pushing my PC to the limit. I had to turn off shadows, and if I try to open another window my PC has trouble.

I am excited to reach level 23 and earn the Doom Slayer skin. There is even a bonus style--

This season's map is incredible. It is obvious they have been working on this for a while, perhaps since they flipped the map last year. The amount of work that went into creating these biomes is undeniable and EPIC is doing so many things right they deserve the praise.

I also use Unreal Engine and so I am very impressed with the improvements they have been making in game. I remember when actual fire was added, the healing campfire burned me for the first time. It was then I realized, fire is very very dangerous, and I started using it on opponents.
