The game is over and people are leaving and I did not hear any cheers of celebration so upon checking the score I see it was a defeat for the home team and a win for the visitors.
So there may not be any celebration tonight in the capital city, but for those who fought and earned the victory, they will return home as champions.
I see people making their way and among various jerseys there must be a few who are pleased with the results. No doubt both teams fought hard as the home team was ahead when I had the last checked at the score.
But it's all a game and for fun.We hope although there is a lot at stake for both sides.
I am looking forward to finally making it home and Resting for a day or 2. Another day, another five hundred kilometers.
Time marches ever on and yet some things never change. I imagine in 10 years I might still be travelling here and doing some of the same things. Hopefully by then i'm a Little wiser and a little wealthier as well.
Countdown to 2034! And can you believe that Christmas is next week? This Friday the solstice begins, this weekend the sun dips the lowest in our sky, and the night is the longest. Stay warm and I hope you can spend time with your family and friends over the next few weeks.
