Bro Eli's teaching on Obedience to God's Will (Part 2 of 2)
One may wonder - what are we going to do in order to do the will of God? Here is a candid answer, keep God's commandment The book of Galatians 6:2 says:
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.source
So, we need to fulfill the will of God and in other words it is known as the laws of God
What are the laws of God?
In Bro. Eli's teaching, the 10 commandments are not known to be the laws of God; rather, it is the law of Jesus that is the law of God. The Ten Commandments were laws given to Israel through Moses from God for their dispensation. Today, we submit to the laws of Jesus, which are timely, and we learn these wills before we die. Certainly, we all will die at the time appointed, as seen in Hebrews 9:27.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:source
Since it is inevitable we will die, Bro. Eli advises let us die with the hope we kept to the will of God and join Him in the resurrection.
Admonition of Bro. Eli: Let us do the will of God; follow His instruction now we are alive.
It is an opportunity for all of us to learn the will of God at least before we die.
