Blue Polka

It's a pleasure posting here again.
This weekend I made something fancy and comfortable.
A flare polka dot top.

I had a left over fabric from making my sister's dress.
It was quite little and I thought of what to do with it, and I decided to use it to make something simple yet cute.
I finally decided on a flare top I can use with a skirt or shorts and feel free in.

I placed the fabric and just marked the neck line and cut it out.
I didn't have any bias strip so I decided to weave the neckline and proceed to add the second fabric to the original flare cutting.

I pleated the second material down to the first and went ahead to just run a thread at the sides of the top so that I can have where to put my hands in the dress.

And there you go with my simple top.
What would you name this 😊?
I call it "Polka Blue "
