Like a needle with no thread
Like a carpenter with no hammer
An assassin with no threat
A tree with no leaf
My heart feels lifeless
What is left of me
The blood in my veins feels poisoned
My tongue tasteless
My life as good as dead
No colours
Just grey
I have been searching for a meaning
All I know about love has forsaken me
The magic I felt with you
No longer exists
Its tragic
Leaving without saying goodbye hurts deep in my soul
Yet, you swore that you love me

@dante31 Beautiful poem, I feel in each word, in each line like an echo of emotions that transport me to my love from the past who one day became the love of my life, the next day he became a shooting star, he left without warning and without anesthesia. But life goes on. I love this quote:
"I've been searching for meaning, everything I know about love has abandoned me.
