Hace poco inauguraron este nuevo Monumento conmemorativo por los 200 años de la Batalla Naval del Lago, se encuentra ubicado en el parque Vereda del Lago Cual se fundó en 1978 tras tres años de dragado y relleno de fondo lacustre, y se requirieron seis años más para su acondicionamiento paisajístico. Es el parque más grande de la ciudad de Maracaibo ubicado al norte en las orillas del lago, desde donde se puede apreciar el puente Rafael Urdaneta Así como las distintas embarcaciones que por él pasan.

El parque resalta sus áreas verdes y caminerias que permiten el acercamiento y contemplación del lago, cuenta con con espacios cómo canchas de tenis, fútbol, beisbol, un parque acuático y rampas para patinetas entre otras ❤️ un espacio para prácticas de deportes y actividades recreativas.
Quedó muy corta para explicarles la inmensidad y fascinación que es, este parque para nosotros, crecímos visitando este lugar en cumpleaños, días feriados y en los eventos cívicos cómo el desfile anual

They recently inaugurated this new commemorative monument for the 200 years of the Naval Battle of the Lake, it is located in the Vereda del Lago Cual park. It was founded in 1978 after three years of dredging and filling of the lake bottom, and it took six more years to its landscape conditioning. It is the largest park in the city of Maracaibo located to the north on the shores of the lake, from where you can see the Rafael Urdaneta Bridge as well as the different boats that pass through it.

The park highlights its green areas and paths that allow the approach and contemplation of the lake, it has spaces such as tennis, soccer, baseball courts, a water park and ramps for skateboards among others ❤️ a space for practicing sports and recreational activities.

It was too short to explain to you the immensity and fascination that this park is for us, we grew up visiting this place on birthdays, holidays and at civic events such as the annual parade.
