My Kind of People

I always enjoy being with people who understand me. The main reason is that we share the same vibe and values, finding your tribe where everything is better.

Maybe my kind of people is just honest people, I can't really stand other people's dishonesty. I respect so much when somebody can just stand up and let the truth be told, even if it goes hard or he or she is about to face consequences. One good friend of mine, Lisa can tell me the truth straight to my face. When the results I produce needs more work, she'll say so without sugar coating it in anyway. It may seem like a bitter pill but it actually helps me grow and I'm well aware of that.

Another thing I found valuable is kindness. It is easy to be kind, but not for everybody. I remember how I was at a local event, and my friend Kennedy noticed a stranger struggling with heavy bags. Not even thinking, he helped the stranger out. I looked at that and smiled to him. That's the kind of person around me, no wonder I'm always in a good mode.

Creativeness counts as a big thing for me too. I do a little bit of song writing so it's a great advantage to be around people who are thinking outside the box. My brilliant bandmates always have great ideas to share about our songs. Their creativeness inspires me to become better in my craft. It's a side gig though.

Life is full of ups and downs but reliable friends can make a big difference and help you through any storm. My friend Lisa, the hard one is also is the most dependable person I know. If I need her help, she's there for me no questions asked. If I didn't already have a girlfriend she'd be number one in the list.

I believe in supporting each other. My type of people cheer each other on. Lisa always finds some time to come to my gigs, even if she is super busy. That means the world to me, period.

You can tell that I'm a melancholic so I love passionate people. It doesn't matter what they're passionate about, but so long as it's genuine, I love them for it. It makes me want to go after my life with interest. Another good from Cal is passionate about cooking. Truly an inspiration and hearing him speak about food is pretty cool, it makes me remember never to let the fire for my own dreams burn out of me.

It's not easy finding good people around you but it's worth trying to look for them. There's a rich streak that suddenly fills one's life when surrounded by people who are in harmony with your passions and interests. You always feel understood and supported.
