Wills and Phills

After 18 years of childlessness, Mrs Ana, the most beautiful Dove in the kingdom of Solom was blessed with two cute lovely male squabs.
She named them Wills and Phills, the names of her lover which she could not identify the actual person that did the miracle.
Wills and Phills were well cared for and all needed for their well being were provided by the two lovers of their mother.
As squabs living the good life, growth came slowly, failing every expectation even though they were fed with the best nutritious cereals, fruits and vegetables in the kingdom.
As Wills and Phills were growing, they were ordained to join the army at their tender age by Mr Phills who thought that the timing was perfect for the kids since he was a soldier.
His plan for the young ones failed so badly that he hid his face for months.
Yeah, the squabs cried throughout their days in the barracks and were sent home without any further test.
Wills and Phills came back to the society, but had no shame on how they were discharged from the army. They made fun of it and entertained many people with their little experience in the military.
After 2 months of their existence, they became known in the society as comedians whose comedy brightened the entire city.
Wills and Phills were known and rewarded very well for their contributions in the society, but the most acknowledged person among them was Wills whose voice was more heard than that of Phills.
Wills continued to wax bigger than Phills and made it seem clearly that the reason why they attained such a standard was because of his consistency and commitment to the comedy business.
Phills felt bad about it and complained to their mother, but Ana did nothing simply because she chose Wills as her favorite and most creative child in her entire life.
This broke Phills into fragments, got him thinking of ways to pullout of Wills shadows.
Phills was a type that does not like long drama due to the fact that he was a stammerer while Wills talks so much and was free from stammering at his tender age.
This created a very big barrier between the two professional comedians and made Phills to feel less important whenever they mount the stage for their presentation.
Phills's performance began to drop significantly and Ana, their mother and manager paid him half of what she pays Wills. Ana even replaced Phills character at times, just to show that he was not very important to the team.
Wills's shadow over Phills brought frustration to Phills, made him to conclude that his contributions to the team can be replaced easily by anyone at any time.
Phills saw his second discharge in life on its way, but strategically planned for the future.
He began to attend shows and events, made himself known to them as a comedian who is ready to be hired.
One day, he went to watch a show which he was never invited to perform and luckily for he, he was called to say hello to the fans as a popular celebrity. He funnily mounted on the stage, cracked some short jokes and did a skit to brighten the atmosphere.
At the end of the show, a promoter gave him his card, requested for his presence the next day for a brief discussion.
Phills grabbed the opportunity before him and was admitted to work with the new middle class comedy team which paid him not as a comedian, but as their manager and trainer of many talented comedians. Though his salary was not up to half of what Ana paid her, but his value and personality was honored greatly. His peace of mind was at its best reputation and life was easier for him since 99% of the staff called him "Sir".
Phills trained his team exclusively on both long and short drama and tasked himself severely to nurse his team to achieve the greatest.
The Icon competition came, a competition only for the best Entertainers in the kingdom which Phills team was invited to participate for the first time.
Ana and Wills on the other hand were the defending champions and wouldn't want the title to leave their firm at all cost.
Phills saw this as an opportunity for a payback and display of what he has become without their help.
The contest came and Phills took the leading staff at all angles with his team, making them the next best rated team of creative artists and the Icon winner of the year.
Phills built an empire with his name, won many awards including those outside of their kind and kingdom, and made it known that no condition is permanent.
Till date, all Doves remember the name Phills, even in their whistling.
