Tips for begginers: How to use Meriput Magician [EN - ESP]
Well, the new year 2024 is upon us. It seems like only yesterday when 2023 was beginning, or when we were living through a terrible pandemic, and now we are already in 2024 and moving irremediably into the future. And what better way to start the year than by creating content for the wonderful world of @Splinterlands. This week's content of my article is about how we can use and make the most of one of the Starter cards we will receive when we start playing splinterlands. Today we look at the Meriput Magician card and how we can harness its power to our advantage in our first steps in the game.

Parece que fue ayer cuando comenzaba el 2023, o cuando vivíamos una terrible pandemia, y ya estamos en el 2024 y avanzando hacia el futuro de manera irremediable. Y qué mejor forma de comenzar el año que creando contenido para el maravilloso mundo de @Splinterlands. Esta semana el contenido de mi artículo trata de cómo podemos usar y aprovechar al máximo una de las cartas Starter que vamos a recibir al comenzar a jugar splinterlands. Analizamos, hoy, la carta Meriput Magician y cómo podemos aprovechar su poder a nuestro favor en nuestros primeros pasos en el juego.
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the letter analysed this week. The example battle I'm bringing you was also the first one I played with this card and it was a fundamental part of my victory. I'm talking about the life deck card Meriput Magician As you may have guessed, it has magic attack and the ability to heal, which is what makes it a card to take into account, being very usable in almost any scenario that the battle conditions present in each case.
Tengo que reconocer que me he llevado una sorpresa muy grata con la carta analizada esta semana. La batalla de ejemplo de uso que te traigo ha sido, además, la primera que jugaba con esta carta y ha sido parte fundamental en mi victoria. Estoy hablando de la carta del mazo de vida Meriput Magician. Como habrás intuido cuenta con ataque mágico y la habilidad de sanación que es lo que la convierte en una carta a tener en cuenta siendo muy utilizable en casi cualquier escenario que nos planteen las condiciones de batalla en cada caso.

He has one point of magic attack, three points of vitality and five points of shield at the cost of only five points of summoning mana but his importance and playability lies in his Tank Heal ability, which he adds from the first level of evolution. In addition, he gains Shield at level 5, and finally Strengthen at the highest level, level 10.

Pero vamos a lo que nos interesa que son sus habilidades en el juego. Cuenta con un punto de ataque mágico, tres de vitalidad y cinco puntos de escudo a costa de tan solo cinco puntos de maná de invocación. Pero su importancia y jugabilidad radica en su habilidad Tank Heal con la que suma ya desde el primer nivel de evolución. A mayores ganará Shield en el nivel 5 y, por último, Strengthen en el nivel máximo, el 10.
The battle pits me against @uzzfuzz and has a limitation of 32 available mana points and a battle condition of only using cards with magic attack. With these conditions I will use a life deck with Franzz Ruffmane as my summoner and a line-up with three cards which will be the legendary Iziar, the epic Captain Katie and this week's protagonist Meriput Magician. Meriput's tank healing power will make Iziar almost immortal and will be the main reason for my victory in this match.
La batalla me enfrenta a @uzzfuzz y tiene una limitación de 32 puntos de maná disponible y como condición de batalla el solo utilizar cartas con ataque mágico. Con estas condiciones utilizaré un mazo de vida con Franzz Ruffmane como invocador y una alineación con tres cartas que serán la legendaria Iziar, el épica Captain Katie y la protagonista de esta semana Meriput Magician. El poder de sanación al tanque de Meriput va a convertir a Iziar en casi inmortal y va a ser la razón principal de mi victoria en este combate.
The inclusion of Ujurak Mystic in my line-up didn't have a special weight as my opponent didn't, I hoped, place enough cards with the abilities that penalise his special ability. I still think it's an interesting card in a very specific context, but it's penalised by its low offensive and defensive power in general. I don't think it's going to be a card I'll use much in the future and, given this analysis, it's not one of my priorities to buy and evolve among the options offered by the new Rebellion edition.
La inclusión de Ujurak Mystic en mi alineación no ha tenido un peso especial ya que mi rival no ha colocado, esperaba que lo hiciera, suficientes cartas con las habilidades que penaliza su habilidad especial. Aún así me parece una carta interesante en un contexto muy determinado pero que queda muy penalizada por su escaso poder ofensivo y defensivo en general. Creo que no va a ser una carta que utlice mucho en el futuro y, visto este análisis, no entra en mis prioridades para comprar y evolución entre las opciones que nos ofrece la nueva edición Rebellion.
