Social Media Challenge: How to play using Moxian Rebel [EN - ESP]
Another week begins and another week I bring you the usual ration of articles with @splinterlands as the theme to brighten up the week. We begin, as always, with the Social Media Challenge. In the last few weeks I have been taking advantage of this challenge to share card analysis. They are analyses of some new cards that have caught my attention or, simply, that I thought it would be interesting to share or useful for new players in the Splinterlands universe.. This week I'm analysing a Rebellion edition card from the neutral deck, so it might be of interest to everyone regardless of what your best deck is or what your level is. Plus, a starter card that EVERYONE can use for free. I won't dwell any longer on the introduction so let's get to this new analysis. Let's get started.
Otra semana que comienza y otra semana que os traigo la ración habitual de artículos con @splinterlands como temática para amenizar la semana. Comenzamos, como siempre, con el reto Social Media Challenge. En las últimas semanas estoy aprovechando este reto para compartir análisis de cartas. Son análisis de algunas cartas nuevas, que me han llamado la atención o, simplemente, que me ha parecido interesante compartir o de utilidad para los nuevos jugadores recien llegados al universo Splinterlands. Esta semana analizo una carta edición Rebellion del mazo neutral por lo que puede ser de interés para todos independientemente de cuál sea tu mejor mazo o de cuál sea tu nivel. Además, una carta starter que TODOS podemos utlizar de manera gratuita. No me entretengo más con la introducción asi que vamos a por este nuevo análisis. Comenzamos.
As always when I analyse a Rebellion edition card I show you one of the first battles I have done with the card in question. I still haven't improved a single card in this edition but I think this is going to change soon because there are some really interesting elements in this new edition. Today's review is for Moxian Rebel, a very basic card in the neutral deck but with some very interesting strengths Let's see what Moxian Rebel can bring to our strategies.
Como siempre que analizo una carta edición Rebellion te muestro una de las primeras batallas que he realizado con la carta en cuestión. Sigo sin mejorar ni una sola carta de esta edición aunque creo que esto va a cambiar en breve porque hay algunos elementos realmente interesantes en esta nueva edición. Hoy el análisis le corresponde a Moxian Rebel, una carta muy básica del mazo neutral pero con algunos puntos fuertes más que interesantes. Vamos a ver qué nos puede aportar Moxian Rebel a nuestras estrategias.
Moxian Rebel is a rare card from the neutral deck that has, to start with, one point in all of its basic abilities. You could say it has very little in a very small amount. His evolution will go from level 1 to level 8, increasing his attack by one point, his speed by two points and his vitality by four points, while his single point of shielding remains unchanged. As for his special abilities, at the first level he already has Weapons Training and at level 4 he will gain Camouflage The combination of both abilities is more than interesting as the first gives attack to adjacent cards that don't have attack points and the second prevents him from being attacked, giving Weapons Training even more value.
Moxian Rebel es una carta rara del mazo neutral que tiene, de inicio, un punto en todas sus habilidades básicas. Se podría decir que tiene de poco en muy poca cantidad. Su evolución va a pasar, del nivel 1 al 8, aumentando un punto su ataque, dos puntos la velocidad y cuatro puntos la vitalidad quedando inalterable su único punto de escudo. En cuanto a sus habilidades especiales, en el primer nivel ya cuenta con Weapons Training y anivel 4 ganará Camouflage. La combinación de ambas habilidades es más que interesante ya que la primera dota de ataque a las cartas adyacentes que no tengan puntos de ataque y la segunda evita que pueda ser atacada dando más valor aún a Weapons Training.
The example battle is ideal to test the level and playability of Moxian Rebel. Because of the vagaries of fate, both players are going to use the card I'm analysing this week, you'll be able to check its performance in two different strategies and assess in which situation, transferring it to your roster, this rare card from the neutral deck could be useful for you. La batalla de ejemplo es ideal para comprobar el nivel y jugabilidad de Moxian Rebel. Y es que por esos azares que tiene el destino, ambos jugadores vamos a utilizar la carta que analizo esta semana. Vas a poder comprobar su desempeño en dos estrategias diferentes y valorar en qué situación, trasladándolo a tu roster, podría serte de utilidad esta carta rara del mazo neutral. Vamos a ver qué tal se desarrolla el combate.
As you can see in combat both players are looking to take advantage of Moxian Rebel's Weapons Training ability. The highlight has been to place both Chaos Agent, a non-attacking card next to him, gaining a magic attack point in addition to the one Obsidian grants We converted a non-attacking card to a card with no less than two magic attack points. But it doesn't stop there. If you notice, in front of Moxian Rebel is another card with no attack. Lurkin Puffer gains, like Chaos Agent, two Magic Attack points. In other words, just by placing Moxian Rebel in the line-up we've gained four Magic Attack points for two cards that had no attack points at all. I think it shows that, especially in low mana battles, Moxian Rebel can multiply our offensive power for only four points of summoning mana.
Como ves en el combate ambos jugadores buscamos aprovechar la habilidad Weapons Training de Moxian Rebel. El punto destacado ha sido colocar ambos a Chaos Agent, carta sin ataque a su lado ganando un punto de ataque mágico además del que otorga Obsidian. Hemos convertido una carta sin ataque a otra con nada menos que dos puntos de ataque mágico. Pero la cosa no queda ahí. Si te fijas, delante de Moxian Rebel va otra carta sin ataque. Lurkin Puffer gana, como Chaos Agent, dos puntos de ataque mágico. Es decir, solo con colocar a Moxian Rebel en la alineación hemos ganado cuatro puntos de ataque mágico para dos cartas que no contaban con ningún punto de ataque. Creo que queda demostrado que, especialmente en batallas con poco maná disponible, Moxian Rebel puede multiplicar nuestro poder ofensivo a cambio de, tan solo, cuatro puntos de maná de invocación.
