Battle Mage Secrets: Aim True [EN - ESP]
They say that we learn more from defeats than from victories. And while I quite agree with this statement, it needs to be put in context. You can learn from your defeats if you analyse and study your mistakes, and that's precisely what I'm looking for in this week's analysis because Aim True has made things difficult for me and I bring you a defeat in the battle of example. Welcome, for another week, to the Battle Mage Secrets challenge and analysis of the Aim True battle condition. Let's get started.
Dicen que de las derrotas se aprende más que de las victorias. Y, aunque estoy bastante de acuerdo con esta afirmación, hay que ponerla en contexto. De las derrotas se aprende si se analizan y se estudian los errores y, precisamente eso, es lo que busco con el análisis de esta semana. Y es que Aim True se me ha complicado y te traigo una derrota en la batalla de ejemplo. Bienvenidos, una semana más, al reto Battle Mage Secrets y al análisis de la condición de batalla Aim True. Comenzamos.
Note that this week's battle condition is not very complicated, but I can't quite get the hang of it and I'm particularly bad at playing it. Aim True causes all ranged and melee attacks to hit their target with no chance of missing, it's really easy to understand how it works. Playing it well is another matter, at least for my Splinterlands strategy and gameplay.
Fíjate que la condición de batalla de esta semana no tiene mayor complicación, pero no termino de cogerle el truco y se me da especialmente mal jugarla. Aim True provoca que todos los ataques a distancia y cuerpo a cuerpo golpean a su objetivo sin posibilidad de fallo. No tiene ningún tipo de complicación entender su funcionamiento. Jugar bien ya es otra cosa, al menos para mi estrategia y forma de jugar Splinterlands.
I don't get involved in the example battle at all. My best deck is the water deck and my best summoner is Kelya Frendul and I'm going to play with her and plan my strategy.
No me complico para nada en la batalla de ejemplo. Mi mejor mazo es el de agua y mi mejor invocadora es Kelya Frendul y con ella me la voy a jugar y a plantear mi estrategia.
In one of the most important positions in the line-up I'm going to put a powerful legendary card from the neutral deck: Legionnaire Alvar will be the tank of choice to lead my line-up.
En uno de los puestos más importantes de la alineación voy a poner una poderosa carta legendaria del mazo neutral: Legionnaire Alvar será el tanque elegido para liderar mi alineación.
Second position for another legendary, this one from the water deck. Crouched behind the tank awaits Djinn Oshannus and his powerful magic attack that won't benefit from the conditions brought by Aim True.

Third for the letter we like to see die. Venari Marksrat in the centre of the line-up looking to bring more power thanks to Martyr to his adjacent cards. It will be hard for Oshannus to take his bonus but we'll see what the opponent brings.

A card I rarely use Riverboat Captain follows the line-up. Card with magic attack and good stats to cause problems for my opponent. Although, as you'll see in the link, it's not going to be enough.

Resurrection card, River Hellondale in penultimate position hoping that I can bring Legionnaire Alvar back to life to continue defending my second line for an additional round.

We end with Nerissa Tridawn. A card without much mystery beyond its significant magic attack and high vitality.

My opponent, @bembelmaniac is going to surprise me by using an old school summoner from the water deck that boosts the magic attack. That summoner plus the structure of my opponent's lineup is going to beat me in a very clear way. They've analysed me well and they've come up with a strategy that I haven't prepared for beforehand. Bad approach on my part this week.

Ese ionvocador más la estructura de la alineación de mi rival me va a superar de forma muy clara. Me han analizado bien y me han planteado una estrategia para la que no he preparado nada de antemano. Mal planteamiento por mi parte esta semana.
I will not deceive you. Next time I have Aim True as a battle condition I'm going to use only and exclusively melee cards from the water deck to take advantage of all the goodness that Kelya Frendul brings to this type of attack. You have to try to take advantage of the benefits that battle conditions bring, and this week I completely ignored that. With all the good melee cards in the water deck, I went for too much magic and ended up paying dearly for it.
No te voy a engañar. La próxima vez que tenga Aim True como condición de batalla voy a utilizar única y exclusivamente cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo del mazo de agua para aprovechar todo lo bueno que ofrece Kelya Frendul a este tipo de ataque. Hay que intentar aprovechar los beneficios que aportan las condiciones de batalla y, esta semana, lo he ignorado por completo. Con las buenas cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo que tiene el mazo de agua me decanté por un exceso de magia que he terminado pagando muy caro.
