Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture - ChamPa dynasty

(Edited)

Hello everyone
If we have ever passed through the sunny and windy central coastal areas of Vietnam, we will see images of tall, pointed, terracotta towers. Those are the precious relics leftover of the ancient kingdom of Champa, a civilization that has faded, but the remnants are still kept today. With terracotta construction techniques, outstanding sculpture art. With unique cultures. Besides the monuments, there are still museums, which still keep the artifacts. Sketch the works of art of a flourishing era in history.

My today's post, I want to introduce to everyone is a museum in Da Nang city. It is the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the largest and only museum that preserves and collects, and displays rare and precious artifacts leftover. The museum is located in the heart of the city, at the address: No. 02, 2/9 street, Da Nang City - Viet Nam. This place has been built for a long time, from 1919 by two French architects, Delaval and Auclair. In the process of building this project, there was a great contribution of archaeologist Henri Parmentier. He is a person who collects and researches cultural heritage.

In the heart of the bustling city of Da Nang, there is an old museum and this place still preserves precious artifacts. In the journey to find the shadow of a flourishing dynasty. The museum is located in the direction of the romantic Han river. Step into the campus of ancient trees covered with shade, and porcelain flowers are emitting incense. Inside the museum, there are 5 main rooms. Add three main corridors.

Expansion Gallery: is the room that holds the most works, where it stores 150 works with many different art styles. In addition to the main rooms, some corridors keep a lot of artifacts, through many different dynasties. The second floor of the museum will be the place to store art paintings, costumes of the Cham-Pa people, and antique cars of the Champa dynasty. Visit the Cham-Pa Sculpture Museum, under the works of art. Can help us learn about the flourishing period of the Champa dynasty. With works from the 7th to the 15th centuries. They all bring themselves a story, a fate that can only be of a dynasty. The works are the evidence that exists until today.
