RE: It's A Sign

Dang man, I already complimented the shit outta your last one and now this?! "Uncle!" I ain't seen character counts like this in comments since the old @janton and @thebigsweed days.

Single or married I don't think makes a difference in the moment, I'm just as off the cuff as always. It's afterward, when the day's over, when I have somewhere to go and someone there to share it with is the difference. Hashtag Perspective.

And I don't typically hesitate. Here, rarely. In the real world, never. I've always lived in an initial reactionary realm where if it doesn't come out right or you're ill equipped to sustain the backlash from initial reaction, time to consider that's likely why ears outnumber mouth 2:1.

Sometimes, however, someone pours so much soul into these things, a little hesitation just means you're human.

Ever hear of Eric Gales? Of course you have. Joe Bonamassa is a no-brainer. But have you ever seen them go toe-to-toe?

LOL - oh man, yah I’ve mad comments before that should have been posts.

…I admire that absence of hesitation, particularly because I really do think the authentic response lies in the unrehearsed, the uncalculated, the immediate, etc - I have this tortoise-like response to almost everything, often finding inspiration to respond hits me hours or even years later, at which time I make a judgement as to whether or not there is value in acting on it. In the case of finally responding to you here, my judgement said to go ahead and do it…but I have this super dampened response time to basically everything…it drives my wife nuts

If I’m being honest, as is my preference, I recognize Joe’s name, but Eric I don’t think I had heard of. And even then, I couldn’t remember where I would have known the name Bonamassa from. I wish I had known more, I would have felt a lot cooler in this moment, but what I can say is that I checked out a video of them jamming out together on YouTube and it was wicked cool. As he was introducing, Bonamassa mentioned Frampton had been playing at the same venue earlier, just a cool vibe in general, so I appreciate you sharing it with me!

What's up buddy?
Been on vacation the last few weeks, first at the Jersey shore and then we had all the family up for the week. Robins best friend also flew in from Florida and stayed with us for three weeks, we just took her to the airport yesterday.

Thanks for the mention and for your continued up-votes. I've been a slacker lately and missed a few of your recent posts. Now that everyone has gone home I think I need a another vacation to recuperate, The grandkids ran me ragged, but they do keep me young, I think.
Atlas looks like he's thriving and from the sound of it he'll be airborne very soon.

Why I've got you here I thought you may want to look at a few of the artists we recently saw at the 31st Annual Chenango Blues Fest.

Sue Foley on the left put on the best show on the day and Ruthie Foster had it going on. I'm not one to get out of my lawn chair, but these gals had me up and moving my feet.

This Bud is for you!

I hope you're making progress with the hand.

Give Atlas a Dog Treat for me,
Talking about dogs, have you seen that Show on $$$$$$flix about dogs, very informative. One cool fact that surprised me is that 99% of all dogs can be traced back genetically to the untitled.gif

Let Pura know Robin and me send our love!

I'll smoke to that.

I have seen it! Absolutely fascinating. I had no idea dogs inhale and exhale simultaneously, F'ing incredible! Helluva documentary.

Thumb's pretty good dude, appreciate your concern. Wish I could say the same about the finger. I never drew a portrait of Pura, really disappointed about that. Not sure I'll be doing anymore drawing.

Sue Foley looks like she can shred!

Don't ever worry about missing these things man, not a big deal. But trip out on this, I went searching your blog this morning and then to farm-mom's like.. must be in Florida.

Close enough. = }

Cheers, Jurg's, will do and right back atcha.
