Today our friends propose us from week 71 of #TheCoffeeShopPrompt, a very lively topic Who is your favorite person to have coffee with, I tell you.

I don't have one favorite person to have coffee with, I have two! My friends, companions, confidants and all the good things that a friendship of more than thirty years can have, we were work colleagues, now retired, and from there this good friendship arose.

For us, sharing a cup of coffee before entering the classroom was a beautiful ritual. At the beginning, we bought coffee prepared in the school canteen, which was managed by a very kind lady who made a very tasty coffee, then we felt that this coffee in the early hours of the morning was not enough, so we bought a coffee pot.

One of our friends used to prepare it in her classroom and at recess time we had an exquisite and aromatic beverage, some classmates joined in these hallway gatherings making the time a good time.

As the years went by the coffee pot got damaged, I acquired a small thermos of coffee and started to take it with me, my friends were delighted because of how practical it was and also because the coffee did not lose its qualities.

Now, it gives us a lot of grace, because the thermos is still a good companion when we want to have a coffee "of the old times", in a nice space near my house. These meetings are really pleasant, because there we feel completely relaxed, calm, to talk without any interruption, they are moments that we value very much and that we very consciously plan them often.

This does not mean that we do not love to go to a coffee shop, there is one that we like very much, it is a charming place with impeccable attention, only that it has become very crowded, taking away the tranquility that we like to enjoy so much.

For this reason this past Saturday we were going to visit another coffee shop that was recommended to us, just at the time we called to indicate that each one of us was about to leave home, a strong storm started and when that happens we prefer not to go out, because the streets of the city become impassable because they are flooded, running the risk of being stranded for hours in one place.

Going back to the coffee shop that was recommended to us, the person who gave us the reference knows our tastes in terms of places, so I hope that this coming Saturday everything will flow, and we can visit it and enjoy a delicious coffee together.
